Iam 27 weeks pregnant and experiencing bleeding. At 25w6d i started bleeding and went to see my obgyn, an ultrasound was conducted and it showed that my baby was ok except the external part of the cervix was open . I was not experiencing any pain. I was admitted in hospital for observation and was discharged the following day. Progestogen, folic qcid, cylopam was admitted. Hqve been experiencing light spotting qnd I cld qlso feel my baby movements. Cld this be subchorionic hemorrhage

You are right about that routine episiotomies are unnecessary. For example, in Portugal 🇵🇹 episiotomies are done in 75% of all the vaginal deliveries! It means they are a routine practice and most of them are made without the birthing woman's consent! This is called obstetric violence, since the article 144-A of the Portuguese penal code states that routine episiotomies are a female genital mutilation practice. That's why performing unnecessary episiotomies is a crime in Portugal!

Don't obsess! Formula can be great. Benefits : more sleep for mom, baby's tummy stays fuller for longer so that can mean more sleep for mom, well-growing baby, less stress over breastfeeding , don't have to supplement with vitamin D. More convenient . No painful nipples . Allows you to combo-feed .

Would this method help a baby with a recessed jaw? My baby had a frenectomy at 6weeks, she is now 4months but still always clicking and gassy. I’ve noticed her jaw is recessed so I’m wondering if this is the problem now and if this way of feeding will help. Thanks!
